Motorola Solutions – Low Tier SFS 

Motorola Solutions have updated their Service from the Start Extended Warranty Options for their Low Tier products.

The products affected are the MOTOTRBO™ DP1400, the SL1600 and the DM1000 series. Motorola Solutions have decreased the offering for these products to either a three year or five year LITE package which extends the Manufacturers Warranty from a standard two to three or five years. They will no longer be offering the Essential or Comprehensive levels of protection on these products.

Motorola Solutions has released a new battery suitable for –30-degree operating temperatures

This new battery (PMNN4525A) has an IP68 rating, a capacity of 1950mAh and offers Li-Ion IMPRES technology. The battery is a replacement for the PMNN4435AR battery that previously supported -30-degree conditions.

The new battery is available to purchase as an accessory for the MOTOTRBO DP4000e and DP2000e series.
